Change Hero Look and more with Levels

My Idea is a Hero System, where you first buy a Hero lets choose a marine:
First you get a Marine.
Then you can Upgrade it to War Pig for 500 to which has for example more attackspeed and grenades.
The War Pig can Level up to Raynor,Tychus,Tauren and Rory Swann.
Or you get Dark Templar which you can make to Zeratul and then to Tassadar or Achon.
Its just an Idea for the future. Maybe in 3 Years. Its hard to do and costs much time.
